Welcome to Split Pea Photography's new blog site! As a matter of fact welcome to the first entry on Split Pea's blog! Like the big snow fall that recently graced our front and back yards I hope to come into the Capitol District with a big bang in 2011. I am a photographer specializing in unique and candid family and child photography and LOVE every second of it! Located in Averill Park, NY I'm close to many beautiful parks, playgrounds and historic sites that that make great locations for family portraits in unique settings. I also love coming to your home and capturing the special dynamic of your family where everyone is most comfortable. 

 This site will be used to update you on location shots, mini portrait sessions and everyday news. Because I am a Mother of two toddlers there will inevitably be lots of photos and rambling about my two trouble makers.
